Every once in a while, I post a few links to websites that I find useful for conducting research. Today, I've listed a few goverment sites that might be helpful when performing research. Even if they don't offer information for a paper, they might be worth while to check out for their interesting facts. Enjoy!
Library of Congress (www.loc.gov) —The Library of Congress website hasmany diverse webpages and resources for various academic fields. Visitors canfind information on the arts, sciences, local history, law, and business andeconomics, among other subjects. This website also provides links to dozensof online research databases.
USA.gov (www.usa.gov) —On USA.gov, visitors can explore several differentareas related to the U.S. government, such as the environment, taxes, health,and technology. Visitors can also learn about the many different governmentagencies.
U.S. Census Bureau (www.census.gov) —This website provides censusinformation on people and households, business and industry, andgeography (among other categories). It also provides a “newsroom” sectionthat contains news releases.
