Government Research Sources
Thursday, January 13, 2011 by Anna Kendall

Every once in a while, I post a few links to websites that I find useful for conducting research. Today, I've listed a few goverment sites that might be helpful when performing research. Even if they don't offer information for a paper, they might be worth while to check out for their interesting facts. Enjoy!

Library of Congress (www.loc.gov) —The Library of Congress website has
many diverse webpages and resources for various academic fields. Visitors can
find information on the arts, sciences, local history, law, and business and
economics, among other subjects. This website also provides links to dozens
of online research databases.

USA.gov (www.usa.gov) —On USA.gov, visitors can explore several different
areas related to the U.S. government, such as the environment, taxes, health,
and technology. Visitors can also learn about the many different government
agencies.

U.S. Census Bureau (www.census.gov) —This website provides census
information on people and households, business and industry, and
geography (among other categories). It also provides a “newsroom” section
that contains news releases.
