The best place to perform research? The library.

One of the most obvious places to begin your fun adventure of college research is the library. You can check out your campus library, but don’t forget about your city’s
public library, which may have books your college doesn’t carry. If you decide to go to the library and you’re not quite sure what it’s all about, your first stop should be the reference desk where helpful library technicians can point you in the right direction. (Love books? Maybe you should consider a career in Library Science!) You can also search your library’s catalog before actually going there. Most college libraries have online catalogues. You should be able to find a link to the library’s website through your college’s homepage.

Check out the following examples: University of Iowa (www.uiowa.edu), University of Toronto (www.utoronto.ca), New York
University (www.nyu.edu), University of Utah (www.utah.edu), and Florida Gulf
Coast University (www.fgcu.edu).
