Anna Kendall is the author and creator of College PaperBuddy. She has been invited to present her papers on teaching writing at national academic conferences (including the Conference on College Composition and Communication), and she has been published in the academic field. Anna has taught English in Barcelona, Spain, and she has also written and edited academic textbooks. She earned her MA in Writing Pedagogy from DePaul University, and she earned her BA in Journalism and BA in American Studies from the University of Iowa.
While studying for her MA in Writing Pedagogy, Anna worked as a tutor in the university's writing center, where she tutored undergraduate and graduate students, including ESL students and returning adult students. From these tutoring sessions she realized that students needed a quick, fun, easy-to-read guide on writing research papers—from decoding assignment sheets to documenting sources. And, most importantly, Anna recognized that students needed a practical guide for writing quality research papers in the least amount of time.
